Chip Kelly has a reputation for being hard to pin down in interviews but that elusiveness doesn’t extend to his own players. Following last season’s brief appearance on the Turner Time TV segment with Oregon defensive end Terrell Turner Kelly has done it again. This time the Ducks head coach sat down for a wide ranging interview in a segment shot by right tackle Nick Cody.
The interview starts with the end of the Mike Bellotti era and covers Kelly’s views on Eugene, the success at Oregon (he puts the Ducks program quality in the same category as Michigan, Alabama and USC), the value of coaching consistency, playing hard every game and the importance of focusing on character.
