Ravens Helmet Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

Recently, Baltimore Ravens star tight end Mark Andrews was a part of a car accident that has resulted in him missing a significant portion of practice in August. But on Friday, the Ravens received a very positive update regarding Andrews as we approach the start of the 2024-25 NFL season.

On Friday, Andrews returned to practice for the first time since his accident on August 14th, which is obviously incredibly important since the Ravens will be a part of the first game of the season next Thursday when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

This will be an incredibly important season for Andrews, particularly because he missed a large portion of last season with a fibula injury.

At his best, Andrews can truly be an elite weapon for star quarterback Lamar Jackson, oftentimes serving as the top receiving option for Jackson throughout his six-year NFL career.

But as they say, the best ability is availability. So his health will be very important for the Ravens if they want to finally get over the hump in the AFC this coming season.
