The Georgia Bulldogs have been one of the most successful collegiate programs in the country for years now. So naturally, members of their staff have received interest from both other programs around college football, and from NFL teams.
The latter has occurred when it comes to Georgia recruiting analyst Brandon Tamres. According to Nick Underhill, a beat writer for the New Orleans Saints, the Saints have added Tamres to their scouting staff as an assistant.

Georgia has certainly been excellent at not only producing NFL talent but also bringing in big-name high school prospects. Each of the last five years, the Bulldogs have had a top-five high school recruiting class, according to 247 Sports.
Tamres has played a big part in that recruiting success. So on paper, he should be an excellent fit on the Saints staff as they look to improve their roster in the future.
Last season, the Saints roster was the second-oldest in all of football. So the Saints’ scouting staff certainly needs to do its best in the next few years to bring in as much high-end young talent as they possibly can. And it will be interesting to see if Tamres can excel in his new role with the Saints and help make that a reality.
