Donald Trump and Joe Biden are trading barbs as they head closer to their November rematch.
Trump created headlines two weeks ago when he bashed Joe Biden and his golf game during their first presidential debate of 2024.
Speaking Thursday, in a press conference intended to silence critics from within his own party asking him not to run, Biden compared his presidential agenda to Trump’s leisure time on the links.
“If you looked at my schedule since I made that stupid mistake…in the debate I mean, my schedule has been full bore,” the president said, according to The Independent. “Where has Trump been, riding around on his golf cart, filling out his score care before he hits the ball? He’s done virtually nothing.”
Biden, however, conceded that he’s pacing himself in his old age.
“Instead of my every day starting at 7 and going to bed at midnight, it would be smarter for me to pace myself for a bit,” he said at the press conference on Thursday.
Trump currently leads Biden in numerous polls in various swing states. Biden so far has resisted calls from his party to vacate the presidential nomination in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump did not immediately respond to the latest shot across the bow from his old foe.
