Last season, Von Miller was nowhere near as dominant as fans have come to expect from one of the top pass rushers in NFL history. And it sounds like there was a pretty good reason for his lack of production.
During a recent interview with SI.com, Von Miller revealed some shocking news as he claimed that he “really shouldn’t have even been playing” last season as he continued to recover from the ACL injury he suffered during the 2022 season.
“My biggest individual goal is just getting back to playing my style of football,” Miller told SI.com. “It’s crazy how you get injured, and you come back, and you really shouldn’t have even been playing, and people judge you by a product on the field. I could have easily sat out all of last season, but I couldn’t do my teammates like that. I felt like being later in my career, I didn’t want to sacrifice any of my years. But at the same time, I shouldn’t have been out there. I feel like people are judging me on that, so it’s making me a little bit angry, to be honest.”
Obviously, this is some pretty shocking news regarding Miller’s health and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.
Just go play ball Von, don't worry about anything else.

That’s his fault. Should’ve focused on rehab

Well, he was the one saying he was ready to go. Give me a break.

You make millions of dollars, thst is how it works. You don't want to be judged like that than I suggest you stop taking the money.

Clearly, Miller hopes to be healthier this season. We’ll have to see whether or not he is more productive as a result.
