New York Giants star tight end Darren Waller and now ex-wife and WNBA star Kelsey Plum recently announced their divorce. And Waller has wasted no time in letting everyone know how he feels about the situation, releasing a song and a music video about the situation on Thursday.
The former couple had been together just one year before announcing their divorce in April. And based on Waller’s music video of the newly released song, he is still feeling quite down about the situation.
In the music video, Waller could be heard with a ton of autotune on his voice. So much so that it’s actually a bit hard to even tell that it is really even him.
It gets stranger, as Waller actually decided to hire a Kelsey Plum lookalike for the music video. At the very end of the video, the fake Plum stabs Waller in the back with a knife, causing Waller to drop to the sand.

Waller has made music before. So he is no stranger to this type of content. However, fans didn’t exactly love the song whatsoever, taking to social media to question his thought process before releasing both the song and the music video.

The weirdest part was definitely the fake Kelsey Plum lookalike in the video. It’s understandable considering the song is solely about their divorce. But why try and depict her in the actual music video at all?
Fox News Digital, who wrote on the music video, reached out to Kelsey Plum’s representatives for comment on the video, which they have not responded to yet.
