After retiring from the NFL following the 2022 season, legendary quarterback Tom Brady will now begin his broadcasting career this season, and his first game on the air will be the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns. And it sure didn’t take him long to call out Dak Prescott when he was discussing the game.

During Monday’s Fox upfronts, Michael Strahan revealed to Tom Brady that he will be making his broadcasting debut for the season-opener between the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys. Following the news, Brady offered a quick analysis of the Cowboys, which included a little jab at Dak Prescott.

“Obviously, having the Cowboys on is a huge draw as ‘America’s Team.’ That’s gonna get a little hard for me to say that all the time. Understand, they were the competition for a long time. But, in this new role, I know the Cowboys, how important they are to this network,” Brady said. “They’ve got great storylines, come on. Dak Prescott, let’s see if he can finally come through.”

Brady then tried to quickly move on to talking about Cowboys defensive star Micah Parsons, but the audience was still hanging on his comment about Prescott and began to laugh.

“Did that just slip out?” Brady asked with a smile, realizing that he had said something that got a reaction out of the audience.

It might be harsh and blunt, but Brady isn’t wrong. It will be interesting to see if Prescott can finally come through.
