The Atlanta Falcons have had some struggles at the quarterback position ever since parting ways with former MVP Matt Ryan. But it sounds like they finally have a player at the position they feel like they can count on after signing veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins to a four-year contract this offseason.
During a recent press conference, Atlanta Falcons guard Chris Lindstrom, who has been with the team since 2019 and played with Matt Ryan, had some high praise for Kirk Cousins and his veteran approach to the game.
“It feels like he’s been here for years, in terms of interactions with guys,” Lindstrom said according to Pro Football Talk. “You hear stories about just how great of a professional he is and that reputation carries across the league. But then when you get here and watch the way the guy works, it’s remarkable.
“The way he interacts with us has been great. Can’t ask for anything more. You just see the way he approaches every single day — the intensity behind every single rep and the purpose behind it, it’s really cool.”
It sounds like Cousins is already making an impact for the Falcons in just a few short weeks with the team.
