Star wide receiver Stefon Diggs and star quarterback Josh Allen have formed quite a dynamic duo over the past few seasons as both have put up big numbers and emerged as some of the top players in the league at their respective positions. But it sounds like Diggs might think he is heavily responsible for Allen’s success.
This week, NFL analyst Robert Griffin III asked the question “Is Stefon Diggs essential to Josh Allen’s success?” in a post on social media. One fan responded by suggesting that while Diggs helped Allen, he wasn’t “essential.”
“Does Josh benefit from having a top tier receiver, yes. Is he essential to his success, no,” the fan said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Diggs seemed to contest that assessment of the situation, asking the fan a pretty simple question: “You sure ?”
You sure ?

Obviously, this is a pretty brutal message from Diggs to Allen as Diggs is calling out his quarterback, insinuating that Allen would not be the dominant quarterback that he is if he wasn’t throwing to Diggs.
Regardless of whether or not that’s true, it’s not exactly a good look to say something like that publicly.
