Three weeks after being released by the Buffalo Bills, Tre’Davious White has a new home.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 29-year-old cornerback intends to sign a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams. White’s new contract is reportedly worth $8.5 million, with the possibility of increasing to $10 million based on incentives.
Originally selected by Buffalo in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the LSU product had been a staple of the Bills secondary through the first seven years of his career. In 2019, White was named a first-team All-Pro after leading the NFL with six interceptions. A year later, he earned second-team All-Pro honors, as well as his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection.

Injuries, however, have hampered White’s ability in recent years, as he has appeared in just 21 regular-season games over the course of the past three seasons. Last year, his 2023 campaign was cut short after he suffered a season-ending Achilles injuries in the Bills’ fourth game of the season, which helped pave the way for his year-end release.
In heading to Los Angeles, the 2016 All-American will look to revitalize a Rams secondary that is just a year removed from trading Jalen Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins. In addition to White, Los Angeles has also re-signed cornerback Darious Williams, who is returning to the Rams after spending the previous two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
