The Cincinnati Bengals have been trying to assemble a strong offensive line in front of star quarterback Joe Burrow ever since the team selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. And it sounds like the team is continuing that pursuit by bringing in a top free agent offensive lineman for a visit this week.
According to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Cincinnati Bengals are meeting with top free agent offensive tackle Trent Brown as they look for a replacement for former starting right tackle Jonah Williams.
“Free-agent OT Trent Brown is scheduled to travel tonight to Cincinnati to meet Tuesday with the Bengals, who lost OT Jonah Williams in free agency to the Cardinals,” Schefter said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Brown is a longtime veteran offensive tackle who is one of the top free-agent players still available 0n the market regardless of position.
Obviously, it would be a massive win for the Bengals if they could sign him to a deal this offseason to help bolster their offensive line and protect Burrow, particularly with him coming off of a season-ending injury.
