Over the past several seasons, Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce has emerged as perhaps the most dominant tight end in the league and perhaps even the best of all time. And it’s safe to say that’s earned him respect among his opponents.
Leading up to Sunday night’s Super Bowl LVIII showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, Niners linebacker Fred Warner had some extremely high praise for Travis Kelce as he called him a “future Hall of Famer.”
“I haven’t been able to see a tight end to play with the kind of savvy he plays with,” Warner said last week according to ESPN. “He knows exactly where the open spaces are on the field. He’s not just like a burner in terms of speed. He has a good shimmy about it. Not overly quick. He has strength but not overly strong. But the savvy is something I haven’t seen at the position from anybody. The guy is amazing. That’s why he’s a future Hall of Famer.”
Kelce has played a big role in helping lead the Chiefs to three Super Bowl championships in their last five seasons. And he’ll be back next season to try and do it again.
