Deion Sanders has made a lot of changes at Colorado since he became the head coach of the football program at the school, and it sounds like hie’s making one more.
During a recent interview with rapper Lil Wayne for Young Money Radio, Deion Prime revealed that this year’s Colorado Buffaloes spring game will not just be a game, it will be a whole weekend of festivities that he is calling “Prime Weekend.”
“So, for our spring game, we’re doing a whole Prime Weekend,” Sanders told Lil Wayne according to On3.
“We’re having a fashion show on Thursday, something for the boosters on Friday. Then the game on Saturday” said Sanders. “We’re doing an afterparty – a white, black, and a hispanic DJ. We’re going to cover everybody. Then, after the game, we’re doing something with the alumni.”
And in addition to all the festivities, Sanders said he’s planning to have a special guest either at halftime or before the game.
“Also, maybe, at the halftime of the game or right at the end of the game on the rooftop? We’re going to have somebody. It’s going down,” Sanders said. “We may cut that into the game so that could be seen with millions of viewers.”
It sounds like he’s got some big plans for the weekend. We’ll have to see how it goes.
