Taylor Swift is known for her surprise announcements, and she certainly hit the world with a big one during Sunday night’s Grammy Awards from Los Angeles.
After winning the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album for her album “Midnights” which was released last year, Taylor Swift announced that she will be releasing a brand new album titled The Tortured Poets Department on April 19.
The announcement led to a lot of excitement on social media, and that wave of excitement included one particular SEC head coach.
Shortly after the big announcement from Swift, Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin took to social media to express his excitement at the upcoming album release and share in the joy of the surprise announcement.

“LFG!!!!” Kiffin said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter. “Love the drama, [Taylor Swift].”
Kiffin was obviously celebrating later in the evening, as well, with Swift claiming the Grammy’s biggest award, claiming the award for Album of the Year for her album “Midnights.”
Swift has been thrust into the sports world this year after she began dating Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce, but this is certainly another overlap with the football world.
