Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines are currently in the midst of multiple NCAA investigations and it sounds like one college football expert believes Harbaugh could leave the program as a result.
During a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, college football insider Bruce Feldman had quite a brutal prediction about how this whole situation shakes out for Jim Harbaugh predicting that he would return to the NFL as a result.
“My sense, and I’ve talked about this on this show with Rich, is that Jim Harbaugh, who’s obviously danced with the NFL a couple times the last two years and he has a really good record as an NFL head coach in the past, will bounce after this season,” Feldman said on the show, according to On3.
And as he points out, if Harbaugh leaves in the midst of multiple NCAA violations, that could lead to quite a few questions about what exactly that means for Michigan.
“And the stuff that he’s already in the middle of the NCAA hot water with in terms of Covid violations during the Covid dead period from a few years ago, that they won’t be able to do anything to him and they may be able to add sanctions to his alma mater, Michigan. But what happens with this? Can they get out in front of him or if Michigan wins a national title, is that something that could be taken away? I don’t think anybody has any answers to this right now,” Feldman said.
