For the second time in two years, a Minnesota Timberwolves’ player captured the NBA Rookie of the Year Award.
Rookie big man Karl-Anthony Towns dominated voting, as expected, after a superb first season in the league. The former Kentucky star was the unanimous selection after averaging 18.3 points and 10.5 rebounds for Minnesota.
Let’s step back a few years and remember how dominant the NBA Rookie of the Year was in high school.
