When you think of Babe Ruth, you don’t think of his glove. But yes, did indeed wear one.
The Great Bambino’s high school baseball glove will be auctioned by Goldin Auctions, and company president Ken Goldin says he’d be shocked if it sells for anything under $500,000.
According to HallOfVeryGood.com, Ruth gave the glove to Edward Petschke in 1914 while on a minor league assignment and Petschke’s family gave it to the Babe Ruth Museum in 1993.
The opening bid is $125,000. Good luck!
