Carlos Gomez isn’t exactly known for taking baseball’s “unwritten rules” seriously.
His latest example of that came Sunday when he celebrated his solo homer with a bat flip and a dab at home plate.
ESPN radio personality and ex-MLB pitcher Rob Dibble wasn’t a fan of Gomez’s antics and whined about it on Twitter.
It's amazing to me a guy like Carlos Gomez talks as much crap as he does with 103 HR's in 3,500 abs in 9 yrs.

It didn’t take long for Gomez to respond to Dibble’s tweet by thanking him for the extra motivation and telling him about how “sexy” he feels.
@robdibble49 Thx 4 the motivation, I'm still here having fun and #FeelingSexy have a great day and God bless you! https://t.co/A5pUreJO20

Suddenly, the beef was over, and Dibble turned into a fan of Gomez…(?)
@RealCarlosGomez I like that! GoodLuck this year! GodBless you too!!!

Overall, a bizarre exchange. Apparently players should just start telling those obsessed with the sport’s unwritten rules that they’re “feeling sexy” and they’ll finally be able to bat flip in peace.
