If there is anything good and pure in life, please let us know that this commercial is legit and not a fake. The spot for Heineken is extremely well done and features one big Champions League fan faced with a dilemma of watching the game with his mates, or going solo to the game with a great seat. What unfolds seems very real, and we loved every second of it.
According to Ad Week who felt similar to us:
“With thousands of people watching, the whole thing was orchestrated around an entirely unaware guy,” one of the Publicis creatives tell us. “One take at Olympic Stadium right before the Roma vs. Real Madrid match, no chance to make the second attempt—and not a single actor, all for real.”
Congrats to the folks at Publicis Italy on the great spot.
