D’Angelo Russell of the Los Angeles Lakers was absolutely on fire Tuesday night, and he let everyone know about it. The Lakers rookie, who has had a bit of a frustrating season thus far, ended up with a career high 39 points and 8 three-pointers. With Kobe Bryant sitting the game out, Russell powered the Lakers to a 107-101 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.
Following his eighth three-pointer, Russell had one of the better celebrations you will see this year. He pointed to the veins in his arm and shouted, “I’ve Got Ice, In My Veins!” It is hard to argue with that following a performance like he put on.
