If the Packers-Cardinals divisional round game was any indication, the coin toss method in the NFL might be flawed.
During the pre-overtime coin flip, the ref failed to flip the coin which led to a re-flip and plenty of controversy after the Cardinals won the toss and then the game. Stephen Colbert offered some ideas on how the NFL can fix this problem for the future, such as “spin the bottle”.
