The Los Angeles Lakers lost a very close season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Leading into the final seconds of the game, Lakers legend and questionably efficient basketball player Kobe Bryant raised his fist to try and unite his squad behind him.
On the one hand, Kobe left his fist out there for all of a second which didn’t give any of his teammates that much time to respond to his gesture. On the other hand, if he kept it out any longer, the spectacle would have probably turned from “amusing” to “straight up awkward” so props should be given to Bryant for moving on as quickly as possible.
It’s OK Kobe. Tom Brady understands your plight.
As for the game itself, Kobe finished with a positively Mamba-esque line of 24 points, four rebounds and one assist on 8-24 shooting.
