The Chicago Bears are currently in the process of blowing up their roster. Yesterday, the team traded Jared Allen to the Carolina Panthers and Jon Bostic to the New England Patriots. Today, they released Brock Vereen and now there is a rumor out of Chicago that star running back Matt Forte is on the trading block.
According to Benjamin Allbright, sources have told him that Forte is on the block and could possibly be moved but Alshon Jeffery is not.
For what its worth two contacts in Chicago have said Matt Forte is on the block…Jeffrey isn’t.

Forte, when he is healthy, is one of the best dual-threat running backs in the NFL with great running ability and the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Now, granted, this is just a rumor but this move would ensure the Bears are giving up on their season before the start of Week 4.
The Bears are currently 0-3 after Sunday’s shutout loss to the Seattle Seahawks and are playing the now formidable Oakland Raiders this coming Sunday.
