Before her fight with Bethe Correia earlier this month, Ronda Rousey mentioned her disdain for “D.N.B’s” (Do Nothing B—-) during an episode of “UFC 190 Embedded.”
The catchphrase quickly caught on with the general public. Now, Rousey is looking to trademark it according to a report by ESPN.
Earlier this month, Rousey, the UFC female bantamweight champion, filed for a trademark to “Do Nothing B—-.” She also filed to trademark the shortened version of that phrase, “DNB.”
Rousey has already demonstrated the power of the simple but badass “D.N.B” branding. Earlier this month, Ronda decided to sell some limited edition “Don’t Be A D.N.B” swag (a portion of the proceeds went to Didi Hirsch, a mental health charity). She set a goal to sell 1,000 pieces of apparel by the end of the two-week campaign. She ended up selling 56,809.
According to the ESPN report, Rousey has also filed trademarks for “Armbarnation” and “Rowdy Ronda Rousey” as well.
