Poor Louis Oosthuizen and Dustin Johnson had a very bad case of luck delivered to their feet on Saturday at the 2015 Open Championship. For some reason the PGA officials decided to play a part of the second round in ridiculously high winds, and Louis and Dustin each paid the ultimate price.
Check out the wind literally grab Louis’ ball on the 13th hole and make his short tap-in putt much more difficult as it blew it about 5 more feet from the hole. It was exactly at that point when PGA officials decided to suspend play. Louis will attempt to make the longer putt when play resumes.
The same sort of thing happened to Dustin Johnson on the par-5 14th, as you can see in the beginning of the above video, where his ball actually got blown all the way off the green just before he could mark it. Dustin made bogey on the hole. Just brutal conditions all around and some really bad luck.
The Open is headed for a rare Monday finish after 40 mph winds halted Saturday's Round 2 play. http://t.co/IYIOUTchKS pic.twitter.com/1821LuanaP
