It may be hard to believe but it has only been five years since LeBron James hopped onto ESPN for a live special with Jim Gray to announce that he would be breaking the hearts of the greater Cleveland area taking his talents to South Beach.
The ridiculously-hyped special ended up running 75 minutes and what good will it managed to produce (namely how the show made $2.5 million for the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich, Connecticut) was quickly overshadowed by the sheer spectacle of the whole affair.
Re-live the experience in all of LeBron’s checkered-shirt glory above.
