Fred Smoot played in the NFL from 2001 to 2009, playing for both the Washington Redskins and the Minnesota Vikings. He recently held an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit to promote his new podcast but the former cornerback mostly fielded any and every question about football that people had for him.
And boy, did people ever have questions for him. From being asked who is the person that he most feared tackling (Brandon Jacobs) to being asked if he had “gone running through the okra patch recently” – a reference to a sexual act that may or may not have occurred on the Vikings’ mythical sex cruise in 2005 – Smoot was entertaining and hilarious with nearly every response.
