Forbes reported that Rory McIlroy earned $24.3 million in 2014, a total that puts him among the world’s highest paid athletes and gives him the ability to buy just about anything he pleases, including real estate The 26-year-old professional golfer and four-time PGA Tour major winner invested serious cash into a former property in Moneyreagh, Ireland before selling it recently.
The owner who purchased the home from McIlroy also threw a fat wad of cash into the upkeep and development of the property, thus leaving us with a remarkable 14-plus acre estate, complete with manicured gardens, a 9 hole golf course and tennis court. It’s on the market for €2.5 million and because the USD-Euro exchange rate is favorable for Americans right now, it can be yours for only $2.7 million. Check out the gorgeous property, with photos courtesy of the Daily Mirror via Belfast Live.
