The Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees may be used to playing in some cold conditions but probably not at the start of the season.
With temperatures hovering in the mid 30’s and 40’s, Detroit was hit by some snow during Wednesday’s game. It looked magnificent (from the warm comforts of my computer).

Despite the weather (or perhaps because of it) neither team had trouble scoring. In the first inning, the Yankees managed to score six runs while the Tigers racked up four runs of their own.
