Brilliant blocks are always worth celebrating HOWEVER there are some rare exceptions where a play should automatically reward points.
John Wall should have been automatically awarded (approximately) fifty billion points for this move/pass.

On the one hand, one has to give props to the Sixers’ Nerlens Noel, who was able to block Otto Porter’s layup after recovering from Wall’s sorcery.
On the other hand, Wall did everything short of turning the Sixers into pretzels. Give the man SOMETHING for that.
There needs to be an “Ooooh and Ahhh” stat. I bet John Wall would average quite a few “Ooooh and Ahhhs” per game.
