Jimmy Graham was dealt to the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday in one of the biggest and most surprising NFL moves in recent memory. It is unclear if the All-Pro tight end knew the trade was coming, or if he was even knew the Saints were fielding offers for him.
First, being traded or released is likely a shock to the system, one that can produce very real feelings. As a result, Graham and every other player that has ever been traded has a right to take it personally and react to the move however they please. With that mind, in the hours after the shocking deal, Graham updated his Twitter profile to one simple word:
Unfortunately, the Saints and Seahawks will not meet in the 2015 regular season therefore, unless they meet in the postseason we’ll have to wait until their schedule 2016 matchup to see Graham face his former team.
