LeBron James Jr. managed to turn plenty of heads with his outstanding play at the 2015 John Lucas All-Star Weekend and he even grabbed the attention of some college recruiters.
According to his father, some recruiters have taken the extra step of sending letters to LeBron Jr. And while this wouldn’t be that big of an issue if the younger LeBron was in high school (or even middle school), LeBron Jr. is 10-years-old.
Ten!
Needless to say, the senior LeBron wasn’t too pleased with grown strangers sending letters to his son. During an interview on Tuesday, LeBron asked college recruiters to chill with the correspondences:
“Yeah, he’s already got some offers from colleges. It’s pretty crazy. It should be a violation. You shouldn’t be recruiting 10-year-old kids.”
There you have it college recruiters. Shred those letters to LeBron Jr. for now. If there’s one person in the basketball world who you probably don’t want to anger, it’s LeBron James Sr.
