It’s been nearly a year and a half since the final episode of Breaking Bad aired and – even though we’re now blessed with a very promising spin-off in Better Call Saul – I still miss the series tremendously. The chemistry shared between the show’s main stars, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, was a huge factor in it being as successful as it was; it’s pretty easy to see that they shared a great amount of respect for one another.
This video comes from the duo’s initial read-through of series finale, “Felina,” and features the actors finishing up the final scene to discover the fate of their characters. It’s pretty wonderful to see (at least a piece of) the emotional ride that the script takes them on, one which is clearly similar to the ride that the final episodes took viewers on when they eventually hit television.
Seeing a very visible wave of sadness hit Paul once he realizes the series is over is a pretty strong testament to just how much the show meant to him and many others involved with it.
