Capitals winger Alexander Ovechkin is known as one of the most dangerous offensive players in hockey and has proven time and again that he’s capable of scoring some amazing goals. Ovechkin latest highlight reel tally came over the weekend and might be one of the more impressive of his career.
During Washington’s 4-0 win over the Devils on Saturday, Ovechkin deked his way through two New Jersey defenders and shelfed a backhander on Cory Schneider, making it look so easy all the way. The goal broke a four-game drought for OV and did so in spectacular fashion. He’s still pretty good at hockey, I guess.
