The Boston Bruins dropped the first game of their west coast road trip this week when they lost 3-2 to the Ducks in Anaheim. At least one person in a Bruins sweater left the arena feeling victorious, though, as this guy in a Ray Bourque jersey clearly had the upper hand in his postgame confrontation with a Ducks fan.
I’m not sure what happened before this video started rolling but it’s pretty clear that there was already some hostility between these two fans that ended up boiling over just after the final buzzer.
As the Bruins fan leaves the row to exit the arena, he gives the Ducks fan a few gentle (but clearly demeaning) slaps on the face that the Anaheim fan clearly didn’t take kindly to. Another guy (who I presume is the first guy’s buddy) walks by and, as he finishes his beer, stuffs his empty can into the Ducks fan’s unfinished cup of suds.
The Ducks fan continues to exchange words with the first Boston fan for a short period of time before the Bruins fan leans in and gives the guy a shove, sending him tumbling over the row of seats in front of him with beer flying everywhere.
Pretty tough way to end a night at the rink.
