On Sunday, the Miami Heat were able to beat the New York Knicks by a score of 86-79, largely thanks to the play of Dwyane Wade, who had been nursing a hamstring injury.
The Heat shooting guard played well. Wade went 11-18 from the field and he scored 27 points while also racking up five rebounds and five assists.
So, Wade was asked to conduct the post-game interview for his team but before he could get too far into the mindless celebratory ritual of recounting a game that had just happened, his wife Gabrielle Union decided to make things a little more interesting by videobombing her husband’s airtime.
Delightfully, while Union was complimentary of Wade’s game, she couldn’t help but give him a hard time about his free throw shooting (“we’ll talk about that later”) or the fact that Wade is getting up their in age (“he did good for an old geezer”).
Given Gabrielle’s history of heckling everyone within ear shot of the basketball court, Dwyane Wade definitely got off easy this time.
