On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks became embroiled in controversy when their team mascot Taima scandalously decided to veer off course and rest on a fan’s head.
The incident caused much embarrassment and shame for the usually punctual and professional animal mascot. So, on Tuesday, Taima issued an apology for his actions.

It’s the perfect Seahawk apology when one thinks about it. It’s immensely contrite like Russell Wilson after a loss and yet full of bravado (“Go Me’s!”) like Richard Sherman. Well played, Taima. Well played.
