Following an arrest last weekend for DUI, excessive speeding and other traffic infractions, Michael Phelps has announced he will step away from swimming for unknown amount of time.
The 18-time Olympic Gold Medalist released a series of messages on Twitter on Sunday morning saying he will enter some type of rehab program:
