Yoenis Cespedes nearly got beaned in the head with a 95-MPH fastball last night. If not for a last-second reaction to dip his head away from the pitch, Cespedes might not be alive.
Yeah, that pitch was a bit off the strike zone….
The next pitch from Jonathan Broxton caught a bit more of the strike zone. And, Cespedes made Broxton pay for his attempted head shot, hitting the game-winning home run.
