Any fool understands the more positive publicity that a professional or college team can attract, the more money it should generate as a result. The Indianapolis Colts are seeking that added publicity through an impossibly difficult fan challenge for the 2014 season.
In the Half a Million Dollar Weather Challenge, fans can vie for a $500,000 prize by guessing the correct gametime temperature of every single Colts home and away game this season, including their four preseason games.
That isn’t hard enough? You also have to guess if the Lucas Oil Stadium roof will be open for each of the 10 home games.

This promotion comes on the heels of the Rams contest in which they offered $100,000 to any fan that could correctly predict the team’s entire 2014 regular season schedule, a contest that of course no one emerged victorious.
