Dirk Nowitzki quietly put together one of the best shooting performances of his career this season, coming thisclose to re-entry into the 50-40-90 Club — he achieved the feat during his MVP season in 2006-07 — before being denied at the velvet rope (his final numbers: 49.7% FG, 39.8% 3PT, 89.9% FT). Dirk’s true shooting percentage of 60.3% ranks third behind that MVP season and the year the Mavericks won the Finals (2010-11). Not bad for a 35-year-old who everyone thought was pretty much washed up a year ago.
