If you caught the Warriors and Raptors game on Sunday you may have noticed that a certain big man for the Warriors was not present. Jermaine O’Neal, who has been starting as of late for Golden State, couldn’t make the trip with the team due to a ‘passport issue’ said coach Mark Jackson. It would appear that a passport issue actually means that he didn’t have his passport.
“A misunderstanding,” Jackson said of the passport issue. “We thought we had it, so the ball was dropped, and we don’t know whether it was stolen or lost, what have you, but we discovered late-afternoon yesterday, and there was not enough time to fix it and get it here, so he will not be playing tonight.”
Lesson learned, right?
