A day after Missouri defensive lineman Michael Sam announced that he was gay – likely making himself the first openly homosexual player in the NFL if he’s drafted in a few months – somebody has honored him with a makeshift tribute at Missouri’s snowy football stadium.
As expected, Sam’s announcement has led to a variety of reactions from current and former athletes, but it’s been refreshing to see how many are positive.
