Dick Vitale is celebrating 35 years with ESPN today, and it is hard to not love the guy. The folks at ESPN took some time to put together a very nice tribute video to the broadcaster extraordinaire which you can see above. There are some pretty spot-on impressions in the bunch.
ESPN Executive Vice President, Production, John Wildhack had this to say about Dickie V.
“Dick Vitale and college basketball go hand-in-hand, ESPN is fortunate to have had Dick be part of our team for the last 35 years. He is truly a PTP’er and one of our industry’s most successful and popular personalities ever.”
