Listen, it’s been a really rough week for the Chicago Bulls – they lost Derrick Rose for the season (again) so I’m willing to cut Tom Thibodeau a break for going bananas during last night’s loss to the Jazz. With the Bulls up by two late in the fourth quarter, Utah’s Richard Jefferson knocked down a floater and was given an and-one from the referees…a call that Thibs seriously disagreed with, as evidenced by the fact that it caused him to flail his arms and stomp around on the sideline like a mad man.
Things didn’t really get any better from there – the Bulls lost 89-83 in overtime. Somebody give Thibs a hug before he inflicts bodily harm, please.
