When the Kansas City Chiefs visited the White House on Monday afternoon, they did so to celebrate their Super Bowl victory with United States President Joe Biden. But one Kansas City Chiefs star had a different motive during the trip: to send a message.
During the Chiefs’ trip to the White House, Kansas City kicker Harrison Butker sent a subtle Pro-Choice message with his wardrobe as he stood behind Joe Biden during the president’s speech.
As part of his suit, Butker wore a tie that read “Vulnerari Praesidio,” which is Latin for “Protect the Vulnerable” – a popular Pro-Life message. He also had a gold pin on his lapel in the shape of small baby feet, representing the size of the feet of a 10-week-old aborted fetus.

Butker addressed his messaging in a statement to The Daily Signal this week.
“I want to give the most vulnerable, the unborn, a voice at a place where every effort has been made to allow and normalize the tragic termination of their lives,” Butker told The Daily Signal in a statement. “As a father who has experienced three miscarriages, my wife and I understand the hardships that come with losing a child. Every life is precious and should be valued whether outside or inside the womb.”
The White House did not give an immediate response to Butker’s message.
