DeflateGate dominated NFL offseason headlines but, with Brady’s suspension removed, thankfully the idiotic chatter has been minimal during the regular season. There might have been riots had that ridiculous non-scandal taken up air time that should be reserved for real football talk.
However, with the Patriots set to face the Colts this week, DeflateGate will get as much attention this week as it will all season. You’ll remember that Indy was the team that supposedly blew the whistle on the deflated balls during last year’s AFC title game.
And, unsurprisingly, Vegas is ready. Bovada has an interesting over/under prop bet for how many times anything deflate-related is mentioned during the TV broadcast:

Doesn’t 2.5 seem very low?
We could eclipse that number in the opening segment. The incident will certainly be discussed but maybe they won’t actually use those terms?
