John Oliver is apparently a man of his word. Following the arrest of high-ranking FIFA officials on corruption and bribery charges but prior to Sepp Blatter’s resignation one week later, the British comedian eviscerated the organization and their leader.
The Last Week Tonight host promised to wear one of adidas’ ugly shoes, take a bite out of everything on the McDonald’s dollar menu and drink one of Budweiser’s disgusting drinks. In displaying a higher ethical standard than those taking millions of dollars in kickbacks at FIFA, Oliver followed through on his promise:
