During Sunday’s Celtics-Cavs game, Kevin Love suffered a painful dislocated left shoulder during a rebound scuffle with Kelly Olynyk.
Love immediately left the court following the injury and his return was ruled out for the rest of the game. The Cavaliers stated that Love would receive additional tests once the team returns to Cleveland.
After the game, Love spoke with the media and he unequivocally called out Olynyk for his injury, stating that Olynyk definitely looked to injure him on the play.
Kevin Love: "I thought it was a bush-league play … I have no doubt in my mind that he did it on purpose"

More Kevin Love: "That's just not a basketball play … The league will take a look at it and it better be swift and just"

Looking at the incident on replay, it’s hard to argue with Love’s sentiments. Olynyk and Love get their arms tangled but Olynyk pulls Love’s shoulder in a way that doesn’t constitute a play on the ball at all. It will be interesting to see how the NBA rules in this case.
