Bryce Harper hit his third home run of the young postseason on Tuesday night, and his latest may have been his most impressive one so far…and that’s saying something.
After mashing a Hunter Strickland pitch into the triple deck of Nationals Stadium last Friday, Harper once again took Strickland very, very deep during Game 4. Harper’s seventh inning homer in San Fran had a splashdown landing in McCovey Cove, where a kayaker went to great lengths to make sure he secured the souvenir.
Harper’s blast was not only grand in distance, it also tied the game for the Nats in the late innings of an elimination game. Big time players make big time plays, son.
